Trade and Local Implications of #CETA -- public event at The Lantern, April 4 at 7 pm

Via the St. John's chapter of the Council of Canadians:

Do you know what CETA is and what it might mean for us?

April 4th, 7-9 pm at The Lantern
With a CETA (Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement) deal between Canada and Europe now in the final stage of negotiations, this is a question you might want to ask yourself.

To help us answer that, the Council of Canadians' national Trade Campaigner, Stuart Trew will join us in St. John's for a public event! With this event, we hope to provide insight into trade, details of the CETA deal and possible local implications.

The format will provide for a presentation segment followed by a Q & A. We are endeavouring to provide different local perspectives on CETA by extending invitations to some local speakers. Please check back in the coming days as further details become finalized!

This is a free public event.
