How to know about oil: Imre Szeman to give public lecture in St. John's

Imre Szeman is in St. John's on March 20th to give a talk titled "How to Know About Oil". Szeman's work discusses oil not only in terms of economics, but with regard to social, cultural, and political concerns. NL has, in recent decades, become something of a petroculture, yet questions about the ethics of oil have never been more pressing.
